Routewise is a list of upcoming events (parades, marathons, etc.) that you may want to know about.

If an event is tracked by NOPD (with GPS devices), you'll see the start and end shown on the map when you select the tracked event. Large parades and marathons are generally tracked. Second Lines and 5Ks are generally not.

You can also view the public toilets put in place for events, any first-aid stations that may be open during the event, and lost child pickup locations.

Clicking the 'My Location' button will place a cross-hair on the map showing your current location, and add your location to the URL. If you share the URL (by copying and pasting it into a text message, for example), the recipient will be able to see your location as a pin on their map, hopefully making it easier for you to meet up.

Please Note: There may be continued street closures after the end of the parade passes to allow for cleanup, etc.
